I am a London-based cartoonist, lawyer, zoologist and mum, who illustrates and writes children's books and 'draws law'.

My drawings broadly fall into one of the three buckets below:

CHILDREN'S BOOKS (Non-Law)

The day I was commissioned to illustrate my first book was the start of a new, more creative chapter - and a welcome change from a day job in commercial law! I took a leap of faith, invested in a graphics tablet and have never looked back. I was so excited that the book was based on my favourite subjects to draw - lots of hilarious animals!
I’ve since tried my hand at writing some books myself, inspired by my two young daughters - who are my biggest fans as well as my harshest critics!
CHILDREN'S BOOKS (based on
Case Law)

There are some weird and wonderful cases out there, which make brilliant stories in their own right! I have brought some of these to life in a way that I hope will delight children as well as their Big People who are reading them - how could you forget Donoghue v. Stevenson and that pesky Paisley snail?!

FOR THE BIG KIDS:
DRAWINGS TO SUPPORT LEGAL STUDY/WORK

What if the infamous ‘letter of the law’ could actually become a ‘picture of the law’? I have always found a picture to be worth a thousand words and, particularly in law, there are often a few thousand words...
As a litigator and then commercial lawyer, I have always drawn my cases and corporate transactions. Some of my drawings have even made it to the High Court!
